What’s Up Setagaya

これまで6年間にわたり、学生がエフエム世田谷のラジオ番組を制作してきました。
キャロットタワー最上階の同局スタジオで2時間程度の録音を行い、大学キャンパスで録音した内容と組み合わせ、15分間の番組What’s Up Setagayaを完成させました。週1回、昼の時間帯に放送されました。主な内容として、ジョン川平氏とのインタビュー、52回のラジオミステリー、世田谷フェステイバルの取材などがあります。

Interviewing

インタビューの基本を学び、その知識や技能を使って英語母語話者に数回インタビューを行います。インタビューする相手との連絡から始まり、事前調査からトピックや質問内容を決め、インタビューに望みます。
そして、録音した音声を編集する過程までのすべてを経験します。

Rus Howser on hometown

Rus Howser is a longtime resident of Japan and Professor of English as well as author of numerous books on TOEIC and TOEFL preparation.  He is President of Tokyo Toastmaster’s and has gone to the international championships many times. Rus worked in radio before coming to Japan.

He is Coordinator of a group of 300 language teachers interested in computers for learning. He is a former Director of JALT, and President of the Tokyo PC User’s Group.

Kalina Stoyanova on Bulgaria

Kalina is a former Lecturer at Showa. Bulgarian by birth, she excelled at languages from an early age, learning Russian in Junior High and English in High School. She went on to get a degree in London in language teaching. She has returned to Bulgaria to take care of relatives and continue teaching.
